Lori Gaunder - Co Founder, Team Leader, Audio Specialist and Psychic connection to the "Other World"
Lori says, "As a child I grew up in haunted lighthouses and I always had a knack for hearing voices from the other side.  What pushed me over the edge was when something walked through my room in the middle of the summer and the room would turn ice cold.  After that I would start hanging out in the graveyard down the road from my house. I feel closer to them then the living, I trust and respect them and I know what they want. I don't know what the living want, could be to talk or could be to hurt you...you never know. The dead just want to be heard and understood.I relate to them because I treat them as humans , which is what they are. I think that bridges the gap between us and them.  If It takes my whole life I will find answers about the other side and what really happens when its lights out. "

Shane Lawson- Co-Founder and Lead Researcher

Corinne Lawson- Co-Founder, Lead Researcher, Web Designer
Corinne says,  "I grew up in a home probably dating at least 100 years old, if not older.  It was during this time that I had  many paranormal experiences, which increased my interest in the paranormal field. Throughout my years of living in the home, my parents where constantly renovating, which I believed fueled the pararnormal activity.  I also had  some paranormal experiences, after my brother passed away in the home, in which, I felt he was trying to communicate to our family that he was "okay" on the other side.  These experiences lead me on a quest to discover what life is like on the other side."

Steven Christian- Lead Researcher, and Local Haunts Producer

Steve says," When I was 12 we moved into what turned out to be a haunted house in the suburbs.  I saw full bodied apparitions, (although transparent) regularly.  The spirits would whistle, open sliding closet doors, move my toys around, sit on my bed causing a depression in the mattress right next to me, then after a while get up and the depression would go away. I could feel and hear the springs in the mattress creak with the weight coming and going.  It would scratch on my pillow at night too which would usually get me jumping out of bed in a hurry. Then as an adult I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my fame and fortune. While there, friends and I would often play with a homemade ouija board.  All fun and games until the night HE showed up.   HE would scare the living crap out of me and a house guest.  HE emanated pure evil that filled the room when ever he was around.  He would attack us in our beds."

Amy Gaston - Lead Researcher and Co-host of Local Haunts

Amy says, "Her interest in the paranormal began after hearing stories from my brother Steve regarding his paranormal experiences. When I was a teenager, I remember sitting with Steve and listening for several hours to his stories. His experiences began as a child, in our family home in Charleston, SC and then continued throughout his life. I just remember being blown away by his stories and I became fascinated with the paranormal. I began watching all the ghost hunting shows on television and then last year Steve proposed a local ghost hunting show to his GM at CW17 and we began filming Local Haunts in late 2009. It is a dream come true for me to be investigating the paranormal with my brother and with the RIP team and being able to present it to our viewers so they too can be amazed by the paranormal."

Carl Hobi-  Lead Researcher , Lead Tech Manager and Thermal Camera Operater

Carl says, " I have been a believer in the Paranormal all of my life, since growing up in Pittsburgh, PA.  I have never had any big experiences but many small experiences that I never really paid much attention to.  I am trying to prove that there are things happening all around us.   I am into the video part of investigating along with a bunch of other equipment.  I have also been using a Thermal Camera, I hope to capture something on it very soon.   I am thrilled to be part of the RIP Team and the TV show Local Haunts.  I have made some wonderful friends since becoming part of the team.  I have become more interested in 'Provoking', I am hoping that it may lead to some good evidence and personal experiences.  I would Not recommend provoking to anyone, it depends on the "feel" for the location that I get, the reported activity at a location and the amount of experience one has in the paranormal field."

Elena Lyke - Lead Researcher, also a member of our sister team First Coast Paranormal

Elena says, "I had my first paranormal experience when I was 7 years old and ever since then, have always had a fascination with things dealing with the supernatural.  After seeing my first full bodied apparition, I knew I had to know more, which is what brought me here today."

Melinda WebsterLead Researcher, also a member of  our sister team First Coast Paranormal

Mindy says ,"Having a personal experience when I was seven years old has lead to me interest in paranormal investigating.  Originally from Illinois, I am a graduate student at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences."

Pam Pittman Lead Researcher

Pam says, " I guess my interest in the paranormal began many years ago when a family member had many experiences in her home in Savannah, GA.  So much so, that the Savannah Morning News wrote a 2 page article on it, of course leaving her name out.  That sparked my interest in wanting to know more.  As I grew older, I would have small things happen that I really didn't pay any mind to at the time, as in hearing my name be called by a male voice when no one was around to call it.  When my Dad passed away here at home, the night after the funeral, mom got up to see if I was up and I had got up to see if she was okay, cause we both heard heavy footsteps walking in the living room and no one was there.  This has left me wanting to search more for the answers of the unknown.  I love my team mates and I am thoroughly proud to be a part of the R.I.P. Team and Local Haunts and will continue on my journey for the answers I seek."
